Public transport in Tallinn

Tallinn is a small town and you can walk almost anywhere. But public transport in Tallinn may be useful for you if you want to reach sights out of the central city.

You can use public transport if you have:

  • TallinnCard – free admission to over 40 museums and sights, free unlimited use of public transport.
  • A ticket bought from the driver- costs 2 EUR and equals one ride.
  • A smartcard – buy from R-kiosk (2€), validate (1€) and add money.

More information about public transport: tickets and timetables.

The fastest way for getting around the city is by taxi. Our reception can always help you arrange a cheap and secure company. However, if you decide to catch a taxi on your own, please make sure that the prices shown on the car window are suitable for you before sitting in. The prices of taxi services are not regulated, which may often result in unreasonable prices.

We suggest to use our reception or mobile apps such as Uber or Bolt!
